Greg
Greg Pallay (bass guitar and vocals)
Greg is originally from New York City
where he played in numerous original, cover, and show bands.
He moved to South Carolina in 2007, and played with bands such as
No Exit Strategy, The Cool, and The Strumdogs.
Greg is very excited to be performing with Better On Wine

Kim
Kim Barron (lead vocals)
Born and raised in New Jersey, Kim was introduced to singing as an infant
by her mother, a professional opera singer. During the 80’s & 90’s, her love of singing led to the pursuit of musical theatre where she had the opportunity to perform at many of NJ’s semi-professional and regional theatres, as well as performing in cabaret shows, and off-off-Broadway productions in NY City.
Kim relocated to South Carolina in 2021 and was fortunate enough to audition for Jeff and Scott.
That chance meeting led to the formation of the Better On Wine band.
Kim is having a blast performing with Better On Wine and is grateful to the guys
for accepting her into their “Rock & Roll Boy’s Club”!
Scott
Scott Posey (Lead Guitar)
Born just outside of Washington DC, Scott grew up in Laurel, Maryland and played lead guitar
in a hard rock band while attending the University of Maryland.
After graduating, he trained thoroughbred racehorses.
Scott moved to Charleston in 2019 and co-founded Better On Wine in the summer of 2021.
Kurt
Kurt Schmidt
(drums)
Kurt is a transplant from the North East and has lived in the Low Country for the last 15 years.
He started playing drums at a very young age and spent many years playing with a competitive
Fife and Drum corp. In high school, he played with several garage bands and took kit lessons.
When he turned 18, he began playing bar gigs around town. It was several years later that adulting took over and drums took a back seat for the next 25 years.
After moving to South Carolina, he purchased an electric kit and began blowing the dust off his drumming chops and has enjoyed playing in local bands such as
The Green Theives, Front Porch Rockers, and The Grey Area.
His drumming influences are from the 70’s and 80’s; Todd Sucherman from Styx,
Phil Ehart from Kansas, and Keith Carlock currently playing Steely Dan.
Sitting behind the kit, playing live music is his happy place.
